IngenioUs began in the early days of the pandemic, when college and university presidents were navigating circumstances none of us had experienced before. Many were leading from isolation, making difficult decisions at extraordinary speed, with few opportunities to step outside the crisis and talk candidly with others who understood what they were facing.

The IngenioUs Podcast was created to provide that space—a place where higher education leaders could connect, share what they were learning, and hear how colleagues were making their way through an uncertain time.

It took off almost immediately. What began as a response to a moment of profound disruption revealed something more enduring: leaders need places to think together, learn from one another, and encounter ideas that help them see new possibilities.

Over time, those conversations grew into something larger. The podcast led to writing and books, learning experiences, and practical resources—all connected by the same belief that started it: ideas become more powerful when we share them, reflect on them, and put them into practice.

IngenioUs has grown. The reason it exists hasn’t changed.
